Today, I am 3 weeks and 5 days. Daddy and mummy had brought me to see PD as I have been cranky lately and tend to be light sleeper and always wake up crying loudly. Feeling worried, daddy and mummy decided to bring me to Kids Link to see Dr Vanessa Tan.
As it was my first visit there, the nurses there need to take my temperature and weight, everything is fine, and my weight has increased to 3.4kg since my last checkup with Dr Ong, so this is good news to mummy, as she is hoping that I will drink more milk and become more chubby.
Dr Tan has checked and found no colic at that moment, but she mentioned that colic will come and go, and usually starts from the evening. So she has given mummy infant colic drop to see if it helps and let me have better sleep.
Next Dr Tan realised that my nose has got alot of mucus which mummy and ah ma never try or know that it is a must to clean it. She has cleaned my nose with cotton bud, and realised that there was a big and hard one inside. As the mucus is too hard, Dr Tan also dare not stretch in to clean, instead was given a bottle of sea water spray to soften the mucus, and indeed after awhile, daddy has done a check and the mucus is gone, so now my nose is cleared, hopefully I can sleep peacefully tonight.
