Daddy and Mummy Heart-Warming Photoshots

Last Check up on 26th April 08

Mummy has went to see Dr Khi for her last check-up and scan .... to her disappointment, I am still very comfortable with my breech position and refused to turn my head down. Dr Khi also informed mummy that I am a big boy now, may not have enough space for me to turn down as well ....

So both daddy and mummy has made their decision, to proceed with the spinal c-sect to bring me to this world on 30 April, Wednesday .... Mummy is still joking with daddy that it is good that I celebrate my birthday on 30 April every year, so that the next day is a Public Holiday, and can go and party when I grow up :)

So the schedule for mummy will be : on 30 April 08, mummy will have her last meal at 2.45am, and after that, no more food .... followed by reaching the Thomson Medical Centre (TMC) at 645am and get ready for the operation.

37th Week Checkup

On 21st April, mummy has went for her 37th week checkup ...... I am growing well and fine, and this week, my weight is coming to 3kg.

However Dr Khi has shared with mummy that I am in breech position, meaning that my head did not turn downwards, and Dr Khi is worried that it may be dangerous, if mummy is to go through natural delivery, so advised her to opt for C-sect latest by 2 May 08.

This news came in a shock to mummy as she is not the least prepared. All the while she is hoping for natural birth and even without epidural .... therefore she requested from Dr Khi to give her sometimes to get over it, and do another scan on 26th April, to see if I can be guai guai and turn around..... if not, then she will be going for c-sect on 30th April ...

Now, mummy is talking to me every now and then, hoping that I will be good and turn down before this coming Sat .... Let's pray hard together !

33rd Week Checkup

On 28 Mar 08, Mummy went for her 33rd week checkup ..... Everything was fine and normal, and by then, i was already 2.1kg. Dr Khi said that i am growing healthy and expecting my weight to be around 3kg when i reach my full term.

There was also a scan done for me but my size is big now, the scan is not big enough to take a full picture of me, only managed to capture my face, so mummy decide not to upload the scan as it was not very clear.

As per Dr Khi, she said that my head had not turned down yet, but assured mummy not to be worried, as usually baby will only start to down when they reach 36th - 37th week, so mummy is praying that I will be guai guai and turn down when the time is up.

Now, mummy is looking forward on her 37th week check to see my growing progress, and hopefully will have a firm date on my arrival .... Let's look forward !
