Barney Live Show 2010 ~~ 10 September

Finally my long wait Barney Live Show is in town, Barney is coming to Town ! Woohoo !!!
Mummy has bought the tickets like 2 months ago, together with Aunty Lynn and Aunty Jo as Dylan and Jorel are also big fan of Barney. She is feeling abit disappointed as she didnt manage to get the first few rows, even she bought the Cat 1 tickets.

Nevertheless, she managed to secure for the 1st row seat of the 2nd section, so overall we did have a good centre view. It was only a 60 mins show, with 10 mins break. Although the props, background, and seat are not worth the price that we paid for, mummy still feels that the money is well-spent once she saw the joy and excitement in me once Barney appear, and plus the dino dance that I was dancing away ........ every cent is worthwhile again !!

Driving on my own

It was just another Sunday, and since it was a public holiday, daddy has decided to bring us to airport for breakfast, our usual hangout place if I do not have lesson. From far, I can spot the car rally at the carpark, and immediately my first reaction was to tell mummy that I want to drive car.

Mummy was not confident that I could drive on my own, and asked daddy to rent the one with remote control. However the counter girl was saying that I could have give it a try first before deciding. To all surprise, I managed to step on the accelerator and control the steering wheel. And I was enjoying the ride very much, kept telling mummy that "BB driving" .............. This is another milestone achieved, and mummy was feeling happy over it.

2nd lesson in ICANREAD

It was a raining morning, however I still got up as usual and mummy quickly got me ready for my class. Mummy was quite confident that I could handle it well and attend the class on my own, just like my 1st lesson.

So like the previous lesson, mummy has decided to drop me in the class with Teacher She, and off she went for breakfast with daddy at Parkway Parade. Who knows when she returned to fetch me, Teacher She told mummy that I was crying in class. My condition was still manageable as I was crying like 5mins and stopped and cried again. And once Teacher She put me on her lap, I stopped crying. Mummy was feeling abit heartpain and surprised upon hearing that, however she still think that it will be a good lesson and experience for me to go through the class on my own, this is to prepare me for my playgroup class next year.

Let's look forward that I will be doing well for this coming lesson.

My New Class - ICANREAD

Yesterday, mummy brought me to my 1st trial lesson at ICANREAD at Katong Village. To her surprise, I can adapt well in the class and get along with the Teacher She. Mummy went in to the class for 5mins and sneaked out after that. From the window, she peep through and find that I was coping well and going along with the class. So soon after that, she left and had breakfast with daddy and fetched me after that.

After the class, Teacher She shared her review with mummy, that I was coping well with the class, and in fact, I do know alot of stuff, except that I dun speak up alot, and mingle with the rest, since I am the youngest in the class. She advised mummy to let me continue with the class, and will pay more attention to my speech.

So mummy is happy and decided to let me go ahead with the lesson for 1 month. Stay tuned for my updates next month.

Fun Trip to Phuket with the Phay Family (12 - 14 August)

This was our longgggg planned fun trip with the Phay family ...... Mummy and Aunty Gek Eng has planned since beginning of this year. We were there for 3D2N trip. We got our air tickets during the promo and only cost $300 for us, really cheap ! On top of that, mummy's colleague's Aunty Elaine also managed to grab good deal for our hotel - 5 stars, convenient and cheap, which cost of $150 per nite, and best of all, it was just next to Robinson and Carrefour, so that our mummies will not miss out on shopping. And through her recommendation, we also booked a cheap and good tranport driver, Uncle Lo over there. He fetched us from the airport, brought us around for whole day of city tour on our 2nd day there, followed by sending us to airport on our last day ................ This trip was fastantic, we had a fun and relax holiday over there, eat, sleep, play, shop ..............

Happy Birthday, Singapore !

Woohoo .... It's Singapore's 45th Birthday and indeed we have a grand celebration over here. To celebrate this day, and since we have already witnessed the fireworks in MBS during the preview, so daddy decided to go to Sentosa instead.

We went to Vivo for lunch, followed by a drive-through to Sentosa cable tower. From there, we took cable car to Mt Faber, took a slow walk there, followed by back to Sentosa again ..... Then daddy said that it will be meaningful if we visit the Images of Singapore to witness how Singapore grow from a fishing village.

The journey in the Images of Singapore was indeed a good one, as it also showed the different culture of the 4 major races in Singapore. We had a great day over there, followed by coming home in the evening to watch the fireworks on tv.

Happy Birthday to Aunty Leance

Aunty Leance's birthday is 1 day after National Day, as she has got date on her exact and other days, mummy and the rest of the aunties have decided to celebrate in advance for her, so all of them gathered at our place on 7 Aug for a steamboat cum gathering session at our place.

In the morning, we went with Aunty Adeline and Uncle Jac to the wholesale shop in Bugis to get new clothings, for the arrival of BB Jaden .... Just a side track, BB Jaden is a blessing for Aunty Adeline and Uncle Jac, and all friends are happy for them, after 10 years of their marriage. So mummy is as excited too .......... She fixed up the date with them, and brought them to get the bb stuff, total damage was around $140++, and of course when she was there, she was also tempted to get some stuff for me, end up, she also spent around $30++, getting cartoon underwears, towels and pj for me.

Oh .... back track ........ Aunty Eileen and Aunty Karen came over earlier to help mummy out as they know that she needed help, and also, mummy dun know how to cook rice for so many people ........ hahahaha

As for me, I enjoyed myself playing with Ashlea mei mei, Ethan and Aden kor kor, although my play corner turned out to be a big mess, it was a fun evening overall.
